Here with a small update and some bug fixes.
Items:
- Added the Herpetologist Jar, an item that allows you to catch and transport a Frog with you.
- Added the Croaking Whistle, use it to produce a croak that highlights other frogs in the area
- Added a Guide To Frogs, catch or kill frogs to unlock them in the book to vieuw some information about them.
- Added the Boosting Plate, a Tic Tac Toe minigame. You have the possibility to input an item, which can be improved on a win but cused or damaged on a loss.
Blocks:
- Changed behavior of the Frog Cage so it saves the data of the Frog. With other words, the exact same frog will be inside after capture. You can use a Herpetologist Jar on this block to pick up/input a frog.
Quests:
- Removed the Crafting type quest, as it was causing too much problems and difficulties. If you had this type of quest active, you will have to choose a new one.
If your game crashes at any time, please contact me.

Hi there, long time no see!
Please enjoy this big and interesting update. Some game mechanics were updated or completely changed to better suit the overall gameplay intended. You don't need to worry, most of it was necessary and overall better how it is now. I've also removed a lot of bugs and crashes, and added the following:
Blocks:
- Added a few types of orchids: purple, dark purple, dark red, white and black. These, along with the blue orchid from minecraft itself and the (renamed) pink orchid from a previous update, form the core of this update.
- Added Floradic Altar block, here you can craft quite a few things centered around orchids. See the Altar Manual for the recipes and how to use the block.
- Added a new type of acacia tree, the tropical acacia. It uses the same blocks as a normal would, but has a different sapling and a unique generation.
Items:
- Added the Altar Manual, a book where you can see how to use the Floradic Altar and recipes.
- Craft with the Orchids 2 related items: an Orchid Bouquet and Orchid Powder. A bouquet is made from 9 orchids, all the same type. Powder is made from cutting orchids or just crafting them.
- Added the Orchid Mix, this contains all the types of Orchid
- Added grenades! Place an Orchid Grenade Shell in a Floradic Altar along with 3 Orchids/Bouquets/Powders to get an Orchid Grenade. For intensity, it goes like this: Bouquets>Orchids>Powders; for range: Powders>Orchids>Bouquets. The types of Orchid you choose all have a unique effect, with the Orchid Mix having all of them.
Technical:
- Added a few new tags
- Added a new option for disabling the tooltips from this mod.
- The choosing of goals for quests is now dependent on the tags, with other words, you can change these with a datapack
- Added a few more advancements to allow players to know what to work towards
World generation:
- Added a few new biomes to the Greenwood Dimension, and in every single one of them you find a unique type of Orchid, except for the Black Orchid
- A new structure where you can find the Black Orchid

Been a while, here are the most recent changes:
General:
- Removed the geckolib dependency
- Added a new option in the Frogvasion Settings: Silly Mode (does all sorts of silly stuff)
Items:
- Made Ghost Armor trimmable
- Made a few items compostable
- Added a new crop: Sali Tysse with the Sali Tysse Seeds
Blocks:
- Limited the ignition of the Frog Flame to Y-levels between 2 and 255
- Added the Sali Tysse Crop, plantable on a new block, Mud Farmland
- Added the Chroma Clump, may have a special property if "Silly Mode" is turned on!
- Added the Honey Fungus
- Added Rubber and Kauri slabs and stairs
Entities:
- A new villager profession: the Herpetologist; place a Conversion Pedestal as a workbench
Worldgen:
- A new biome has been introduced to the Greenwood Dimension
Gameplay:
- Changed and added the advancements
- Fixed a lot of bugs and crashes
